Life Drawing I : Sketching the figure
Draw an unclothed model each week. Review classic approaches to drawing the human figure. The class will begin with short gesture drawings, followed by 5 to 30 minutes poses.

Classic Drawing I
Improve your drawing abilities by learning classic drawing techniques. Through a series of exercises learn how to draw what you see by training your eye to observe.

Life Drawing 2: The Nude in Composition
Create sketches from the models to use in compositions. Works will be developed beyond the sketch. We will examine some key examples of the nude from history.

The Portrait
Draw and paint portraits from models. We will discuss technique, composition, and character development. Draw preliminary sketches in pencil and charcoal. Complete in pastel, acrylic or watercolour. Tuesdays 2 to 3:30

Landscape in Watercolour
