Instructor: R. D. Abrams

Teaching philosophy:  With the correct skill set, everyone can draw and paint from life.  I teach these skills. Drawing and painting make life better and art makes it more beautiful.

Rhonda D.Abrams (BA,MFA) is a classically trained painter who  on location and from life, in an effort to intensely observing nature and time.

The media works of R. D. Abrams are in the permanent collections of the Museum of Modern Art and the National Gallery of Canada. Her art has been exhibited internationally, in over 100 curated shows, in galleries such as the Tate Modern and the Art Gallery of Ontario. Her work has won Canada Council, Ontario Art Council,and Toronto Arts Council awards. She was resident artist at the Banff Centre and the McMichael Gallery. R.D. Abrams also teaches at Ryerson University.
